(www.rivermiles.com) Phil and I will be racing 340 miles down the Missouri River together. We'll be paddling a 26 foot carbon fiber racing canoe. As racing canoes go, it is kind of a barge, but for this river it should be just right. The river has been close to flood stage most of the summer, but is not flooding like the Mississippi. It should be a fast race. We are targeting 55 hours as our time to complete the race. In that time we'll hopefully sleep for a few hours, but depending on how things go we may skip it and just push on.
